Writing guides, you're bound to get something imprecise or unclear. When we do, we fix it openly and log what changed right here. Farming moves fast, and your corrections often arrive before we catch the problem ourselves.
Our corrections policy
The principle is simple: the moment we find an error or a misleading phrasing in an article, we verify and fix it — and we don't hide it. What changed and why both get written up in the log below. We won't quietly swap content out and pretend nothing happened.
Corrections from you are welcome. Whether a figure is out of date, a step has changed, or a sentence reads ambiguously, just email us: [email protected]. Say which article, which paragraph, and what you saw, and we'll check it. For details that shift with platform policy (fees, event rules and the like), we always write "go by the platform's current page," so a "change" of that sort isn't necessarily an error on our part — but if the phrasing really could mislead, we'll fix it all the same.
The log
Stated too rigidly that "you must hand-write the seed phrase when creating a wallet"
The first version, explaining how to create a Binance Web3 Wallet, said "during creation you must hand-write the seed phrase, or the wallet can't be created." On checking, that wasn't accurate: the backup step in the creation flow can in fact be skipped, and the wallet still gets created. We changed the wording to "the backup step can be skipped in the flow, but we strongly recommend writing down the seed phrase and storing it offline right then," and added a risk note — because if something happens to the device of a wallet whose backup was skipped, the assets are gone, and that's exactly the trap beginners fall into by thinking "I'll use it now and back it up later."
Sloppy, colloquial wording for the gas pricing unit
A reader wrote in to point out that, in one spot explaining Ethereum gas prices, we'd casually written the unit as something vague like "gwei blocks," which could make a beginner mix up the pricing unit with another concept. On review, the proper statement is that gas price is denominated in gwei (1 gwei = one billionth of an ETH). We've changed the passage back to the standard term and added a brief explanation of what gwei is. Thanks to that reader's sharp eye.
"Testnet tokens have no value" was easy to misread
The original text said "testnet tokens have no value," meaning to warn beginners not to spend money buying test tokens and not to expect to cash them out — but the sentence was too short, and a reader noted it read as though it were saying "the testnet is useless, don't bother." We added a clarification: test tokens indeed can't be traded and have no market value, but their purpose is to let you practice on-chain interaction and run the workflow without spending real money, which is genuinely useful for beginners. After the fix the meaning is clear — what has "no value" is trying to cash them out, not the testnet itself.
