Privacy Policy
This page makes clear what we do — and don't do — with your data. The bottom line first: this is a static educational site, we barely touch your personal information, and we have no intention of starting. The details follow.
This is a static educational site
Airdrop Hunter is made up of a pile of static web pages, with no user system. You don't need to sign up, you don't need to log in, and we don't actively collect any personally identifying information — we don't want your name, email, or phone number, and there's no form anywhere asking for them. You're just here to read articles and use a tool or two, then leave — and we don't keep any "who you are" file on our end.
Server access logs
There's one kind of data that's unavoidable: whenever you visit any website, the server hosting it generates access logs at a technical level. Our server may likewise record some routine information — for example your IP address (possibly processed by the hosting service), the time of access, which page you viewed, and request-header details like your browser and operating system type.
These logs are used only to keep the site secure (for instance, spotting abnormal traffic and defending against attacks) and to do the most basic visit counting. We don't use them to profile you, don't use them to track your behavior across other sites, and don't sell or trade them to third parties. After a period of retention, logs are cleared in the normal course.
Third-party analytics: none deployed at present
As of this page's most recent update, we have not deployed any third-party analytics or measurement tools (such as Google Analytics). That means no third-party script is collecting your behavioral data as you browse.
We say "at present" because we may later add a lightweight visitor count to get a rough sense of traffic. If that day comes, we'll update this page to spell out what tool we use, what it collects, and how it's used — rather than slipping it on quietly. We lean toward privacy-respecting options that don't do cross-site tracking.
No tracking cookies
We use no cookies for tracking or advertising, and we don't plug into any third-party ad network. The little tools on the site (the gas fee calculator, the address checker, and so on) all run locally in your browser, computing on the spot — they don't upload what you type back to us.
About the referral redirects
When you click the "sign up for Binance" or "open a Web3 Wallet" buttons on the site, you're redirected to a Binance page (the link carries our referral code BNB3469). Once you leave this site and enter Binance, everything you do there is governed by Binance's own privacy policy and terms, handled by Binance and no longer by us. If you plan to sign up or trade on Binance, we suggest reading Binance's official privacy notice. This referral relationship is also disclosed in our Risk & Disclaimer.
Your data rights (including in the EU)
If you're in the EU or another region that grants similar data-protection rights (for example, under the GDPR framework), you have rights to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Given that we hold almost nothing that identifies you personally (mainly the server logs mentioned above), there's quite little to act on; but if you have a relevant request, you can email us anytime: [email protected]. We'll do our best to cooperate within reason — for instance, checking and deleting the corresponding log records based on whatever information you can provide.
This page may be updated
If the site's functionality changes (for example, the visitor count mentioned above), we'll revise this page in step. Significant changes will also be logged in our public Corrections record. If you have any questions about our privacy arrangements, email us anytime.
